Guess which futuristic gadget made a cameo at that 52nd Annual Grammy awards. The Apple ipad has been unveiled just last week and it is already making waves in the digital industry and even beyond. For a device that has yet to be fully out there, people already recognize it quite well. If you doubt that, just look at the amazing applause and cheers Stephen Colbert got when he pulled out the Apple tablet from his coat to read out the list of nominees. HTC Desire: Vodafone UK Release Date

Yesterday we heard how Orange UK would be offering the exclusive ‘Black Edition‘ of the HTC Desire as of late April, we have now heard that another UK carrier will soon be offering the standard version of the HTC Desire.
According to a recent post on SlashGear it seems as if we can expect to see the launch of the HTC Desire on Vodafone UK on April 7th, if you are interested in the handset you can pre-order it here.
As for pricing the handset will be completely free when you agree a 24-month contract, these contracts range from £30 a month, the £30 a month contract gives you 600 talk time minutes and Unlimited Texts.

New iPhone 4G 2010: Release date delay over Patent violation?

It has been confirmed that a Taiwanese maker of chips and touchscreens has accused Apple of violating one of their multi-touch patents – asking the U.S. International Trade Commission to ban all future imports and sales of Apple products.
It sounds like a big deal doesn’t it? As Apple Insider explains, Elan Microelectronics are the company in question, and they are seeking a ban on products such as the iPhone, iPod Touch as well as the upcoming iPad.
Elan thinks that Apple knew about the violation, but continued to ignore it anyway. The decision is now in the hands of the ITC, who must deicde whether to investigate this or not. If they do, it is thought that it could take as much as 15 months to come to a conclusion.
